KAMLOOPS - The city is reminding residents that recreation fees are going to be bumping up a bit in 2017.

A five per cent increase across all recreational facilities will come into effect Jan. 1, 2017, and will mean higher costs for things like hockey rink rentals, pool use and single event permits. Fees haven’t increased since 2014, according to a city press release. City council decided on the increase in May.

Changes are also coming to memberships, with the discontinuation of the Annual Corporate Pass. Other passes won’t be affected.
