WINNIPEG - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed Canadian receiver Julian Feoli-Gudino and import defensive back Josh Francis on Tuesday.
The six-foot, 200-pound Feoli-Gudino, 26, was drafted in the fifth round, 38th overall, by the Toronto Argonats in the 2011 CFL draft out of Laval.
A native of Costa Rica who grew up in Montreal, Feoli-Gudino returned to school for his final year of eligibility. He signed with the Argos for the 2012 season and continued with the team in 2013, mainly on special teams.
As a starter for Laval Rouge et Or, the two-time all-Canadian finished as the second-leading receiver in CIS history with 238 receptions.
The six-foot, 228-pound Francis, 23, played two seasons at the University of West Virginia where he had 4.5 sacks, 54 tackles, and 39 solo tackles.
