Family's car window shot out in Kelowna

The Kelowna RCMP blocked off roads in the Lower Mission yesterday after a car window had been shot with a pellet gun.

The report came in at 4:30 p.m., Oct. 28, according to an RCMP report.

Roads were temporarily blocked off by police and foot patrols were conducted as part of the investigation.

After collecting physical evidence and gathering information from witnesses, police believe a pellet gun was used in the incident.

“Although I’m relieved there were no injuries, this was still a frightening incident for the family involved,” staff Sgt. Brendan Dolan said in the release.

Anybody with information that can help with the investigation is asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 and reference file 2022-67781.
