Fall-like weather expected this week in Kamloops

Showers are in the forecast for Kamloops on multiple days this week.

Kamloops residents can look forward to a fall-like change to the weather this week as smoky conditions clear, temperatures drop back to seasonal levels and the chance of showers returns to the city.

Environment Canada says to expect a mix of sun and cloud today, Sept. 21, with a high of 22 Celsius and a low down to 11 C.

Cloudy conditions overnight should clear Tuesday morning with a high of 24 C and a low of 13 C.

There’s a 70 per cent chance of showers Wednesday through Wednesday night. It’s expected to be windy as well, with a high of 18 C and a low of 11 C expected.

A mix of sun and cloud is in store for Thursday along with a 30 per cent chance of showers. Thursday’s high should reach 19 C with a low to 11 C.

Friday looks to be cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of showers, a high of 18 C and a low of 12 C.

The weekend should start on a cloudy note Saturday with a high of 20 C and low of 12 C expected.

More clouds and a high of 22 is forecast for Sunday.

Kamloops’s normal high and low temperature for this time of year is 20 C and 7 C.
