June 21, 2019 - 12:33 PM

KELOWNA - If you grabbed an expensive bike off a road in Kelowna last week, police are asking you to do the right thing and return it.

According to a press release, Kelowna RCMP received a lost property report on June 13 at 7:45 p.m. A motorist said her $4000 bike fell off her moving vehicle at around 4:30 p.m. near the Harvey Avenue and Pandosy Street intersection.

Police spoke with witnesses at the scene who said another motorist got out of their vehicle, grabbed the pricey bike, and drove off.

Police are continuing their search for the bike, which is a white and turquoise 21 speed Cannondale bike with a GM73935 serial number.

If you have any information on the bike, or if you happen to have it in your possession, you can contact the police at 250-762-3300, or anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
