Expect delays when Highway 97 work begins

VERNON - Drivers navigating Highway 97 in Vernon should expect delays starting Monday as City crews repair leaking water valves.

Northbound traffic on the Highway between 21st Street and 32nd Avenue will be reduced to a single lane from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30 to Friday, Oct. 4.

The City of Vernon said sidewalks will remain open during the week.
