KAMLOOPS - A former Kamloops RCMP officer facing three charges for dealing drugs on the job is expected to be back in court next month.
Randi Love hasn't attended her first two court appearances in Kamloops Provincial Court, including today, July 21.
Love is facing three counts of trafficking in a controlled substance from last year when she was still on the force.
The RCMP first became aware of the allegations on July 16, 2015, RCMP E-division media relations officer Rob Vermeulen said. An investigation was launched and Love was suspended from duty on Aug. 7.
Love submitted her discharge papers last October and is no longer a member of the force.
