Evacuation orders rescinded in Summerland

SUMMERLAND - Two properties that were once on an evacuation order have been downgraded to an evacuation alert in Summerland.

The District of Summerland has rescinded the evacuation order for 23411 Callan Rd & 25200 Callan Rd, according to a media release.

However these properties will remain under an evacuation alert until further notice as the Mount Eneas wildfire continues to burn near Summerland and Peachland.

While under an evacuation alert, residents should be prepared for the possibility of an evacuation.
