PENTICTON - The evacuation alert for Kaleden has been rescinded.
The Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen said in a press release issued today, July 7, an evacuation alert for 186 properties in Kaleden was rescinded at 4 p.m. today.
Crews continue to deal with hot spots in the containment zone, however, and will continue to be seen in the area.
Anyone seeing smoke of fire activity are asked to call 911.
