GENEVA - The International Committee of the Red Cross says one of its staff members has been killed in an airstrike in Yemen.
The neutral aid group says 35-year-old Yemeni national Hussein Saleh was travelling with three other staff members in an unmarked vehicle in the north of Abyan governorate when he was killed Wednesday morning.
Red Cross spokesman Hicham Hassan in Geneva says the circumstances of the incident are unclear.
The Red Cross says Saleh leaves behind a pregnant wife and four children.
