British police charge 3 Muslims with travelling to Pakistan to train for terror

LONDON - British police have charged three Muslim men with travelling to Pakistan to train for terror.

Scotland Yard said early Thursday that Richard Dart, 29, Imran Mahmood, 21, and Jahangir Alom, 26, had gone to Pakistan between 2010 and 2012 "with the intention of committing acts of terrorism or assisting another to commit such acts."

Police say a fourth person, 22-year-old Ruksana Begum, was charged with having material likely to be of use for terrorism.

Police have said that the case is not thought to be related to Britain's upcoming Olympic Games.
