KAMLOOPS - A snowfall warning has been issued for the Coquihalla Highway.

Environment Canada says a Pacific weather system moving into the south coast night will bring snow to the Coquihalla Highway between Merritt and Hope starting late tonight, Dec. 19.

The snow will continue until tomorrow night dropping between 15 to 30 centimetres by the time it moves on.

The warning states visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow, which can produce hazardous driving conditions.

Visit DriveBC.ca for updated road conditions.
