Enjoy it while it lasts: Clouds and rain forecast to replace sunny skies

If you haven't gone out to enjoy the sun, you may want to get on it. 

From Kamloops to the Okanagan, Environment Canada is forecasting that the skies will likely get a bit gloomier.

Vernon, Kelowna and Penticton are all seeing a mix of sun and cloud, with a 40 per cent of showers and a risk of thunderstorms predicted for tonight.

Sunday the chance for rain grows to 60 per cent, while the high temperature is around 18 C.

In Kamloops, the weather pattern is much the same, with the only difference being that a  30 per cent chance of showers on Saturday and Sunday.

Monday is expected to be mainly cloudy with a high of 18 C, followed by clouds, a 60 per cent chance of showers and a low of 9 C overnight.

A mix of sun and cloud is expected on Tuesday and Wednesday with highs of 22 C both days.

Vernon, Kelowna and Penticton’s normal daily high and low for early June is 22 C and 9 C.
