Emergency responders attend crash in downtown Vernon

VERNON - Emergency crews are at the scene of a car crash near the downtown Vernon Safeway.

The crash happened just before noon on Tuesday, March 28, outside A Fine Kettle O’ Fish on 31 Avenue.

Capt. Brent Bond with Vernon Fire and Rescue Services confirmed crews are on scene, but couldn’t provide further information. He said the RCMP is investigating.

Photos from the scene show a truck and a car with front end damage. 

There is no official word on injuries.
