PENTICTON - Advance polling stations will be open for two days next week for any Penticton residents needing or wishing to cast their votes a little early.

The City is opening two polling stations on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at City Hall from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Thursday, Nov. 6 at Cherry Lane Shopping Centre from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

It is still possible to register to vote if you have not yet done so—residents can register to vote at the polling station of either an advance day or general election day as long as sufficient ID is provided.

In order to be eligible to vote, you must be a Penticton resident 18 years or older, a Canadian citizen, a resident of B.C. for at least six months before election day, a resident of Penticton for at least 30 days before election day, and not disqualified from voting by any statute or law.

General Election Day is Saturday, Nov. 15 at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
