Elder Education Awareness Fair presented at Schubert Centre on June 17

City of Vernon Community Policing, NEXUS BC - Seniors Services, and North Okanagan Community Response Network have partnered for the Elder Education Awareness Fair on Wednesday, June 17, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Schubert Centre (3505 30 Avenue).

The free event will feature workshops, tradeshow displays, information sessions and two keynote presentations: Medications Review by pharmacist Tom Nolan and Planning for Incapacity and Beyond & Estate Planning Basics by Tom Christensen, LLP. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

World Elder Abuse Awareness Day is on June 15.
