Ebus is opening a new office and stop in downtown Kelowna starting Dec. 1.
Since officially launching its B.C. in 2018, Ebus has been operating a customer service desk at the Kelowna International Airport and a bus stop in West Kelowna.
"In our continued efforts to improve our services, we’ve simultaneously been trying to find a suitable location in the heart of the city. We’re now thrilled to be opening a new office that will be fully staffed, open daily from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and conveniently located at 516 Lawrence Ave. This additional location on our routes will be invaluable to those who are currently using our service for essential travel, and for those in the future who will once again be traveling when Government and Health Authorities deem it safe to do so," reads an Ebus press release.
The new location will offer those in need with access to medical appointments, employment, educational, training, and many other essential services, John Stepovy with Ebus says.
The Ebus service has a COVID-19 safety program which includes mandatory face mask use.
