KAMLOOPS - An early morning house fire in Aberdeen is being investigated by police.

RCMP say firefighters put out the flames in a home on the 1300 block of Dunbar Road around 5 a.m. this morning, May 14. Everyone inside was able to escape uninjured but the residence was badly damaged, according to an RCMP press release.

The fire was deemed suspicious. Police and fire crews are still investigating the scene and collecting any evidence. Anyone driving in the area is asked to use caution as the fire crew has equipment on scene.
