Early morning assault and robbery in West Kelowna

KELOWNA – A man was assaulted and robbed in West Kelowna early this morning.

RCMP Const. Jesse O’Donaghey says police are searching for three men they say confronted the victim and threatened him with a knife at about 3:13 a.m., June 10.

“(He) was punched by one of the suspects at which time he turned over several electronic devices including his cellular phone to the suspects who fled the area south on Apollo Road,” O'Donaghey says in a media release.

The victim sustained minor injuries.

All three suspects are described as First Nations men ranging in age from late teens to early 30s.

Suspect one is in his early 20s, 5’6” tall with a slim build and wearing a black baseball hat, red bandana and a red, black and white jacket.

The second suspect is in his 30’s, slender, 5’6 to 5’8 with a thin mustache and slicked, black hair.

The third suspect is between 17- and 20-years-old, approximately 160 lbs and roughly 6’ tall.
