RCMP and the coroners service are investigating a fatal single-vehicle rollover north of Summerland.

Penticton RCMP and the B.C. Coroners Service are investigating the crash which took place in the 1200 block of Fish Lake Road north of Summerland, according to an RCMP media release.

Police were called around 7:27 a.m. today, May 27, by a motorist who came across an older model grey Nissan Pathfinder that had been involved in a rollover.

Penticton RCMP and first responders arriving on scene found the driver, a 35-year-old woman, deceased at the scene.

The woman was the only occupant of the vehicle.

No further information is being released about the deceased due to privacy considerations, RCMP said. The investigation into the cause of the collision remains ongoing.

Anyone who might have witnessed the collision or who might have seen the grey Nissan Pathfinder driving on Fish Lake Road late on May 26 or early May 27 is asked to contact Penticton RCMP at 250-492-4300.
