Driver killed in Kelowna rollover

Kelowna RCMP and the B.C. Coroners Service are investigating after a man was killed in a rollover although the crash wasn't reported when it happened.

Just after 5:30 a.m. today, June 1, officers were called to a fatal rollover in the 3100 block of Bulman Road, according to a Kelowna RCMP media release. The driver of the vehicle had been ejected and was declared dead at the scene.

The site of the crash is still closed to the public the investigation continues. Officer will be going door to door looking for video surveillance and witnesses.

“This collision was not reported when it occurred,” Kelowna RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy says in the release. “We are asking anyone who witnessed the collision, or has any information, to come forward and speak with us.”

The B.C. Corners Service is currently working to identify the victim, and determine all of the factors around his death, RCMP say.
