A couple of Tim Hortons customers decided to trot through a drive-thru in Lake Country.
Katie Sandberg and Cass Burke, along with their horses Bongo and Amber, felt like ponying up a few bucks for some iced cappuccinos.
“It was one of the best experience of my life, it was on my bucket list for years and I am so happy I got to experience it,” Sandberg said.
And the horses, who have never been in a drive-thru before, handled it smoothly.
“The window was a little bit hard to reach but the horses just needed to go a little closer to reach,” Sandberg said.
The coffee shop employees were more than happy to accommodate.
“The Timmies staff were amazing, super kind and so excited to see a horse there.”
And a woman who was shopping at a nearby store decided to come out to pet the horses.
“Everywhere we looked were people smiling.”
