Vernon RCMP are investigating an early morning break-and-enter after thieves loaded their loot into wheeled recycling bins and made their getaway.
Police received a report about a break-and-enter in progress in the 3100 block of 30 Avenue around 3:45 a.m. today, April 7, according to an RCMP press release.
RCMP don't identify the business but images from surveillance footage matches The HiFi Attic's the store front.
Officers arrived on the scene and found a large display window smashed and the front door unlocked but no one inside.
Video surveillance images show three suspects wearing disguises.
RCMP said they smashed the front window and climb inside then fill two wheeled recycling bins with merchandise and walk out the front door. The thieves then push the bins down 30 Avenue towards 32 Street.
Police are hoping someone can identify the suspects in the photos.
“We’re asking businesses in the area to check their video surveillance and contact us if they have footage of these individuals, or anything that might help further our investigation,” Const. Chris Terleski said in the release.
