Don't let summer spoil your ballot

WEST KELOWNA - Christy Clark's campaign chair, Ben Stewart, is reminding Westside-Kelowna residents that they have a dozen opportunities to vote cast their ballots between now and the July 10 byelection.

"Byelections traditionally have a lower voter turnout and the summer can be a very busy time for families," said Stewart.  "However, this is an important byelection for our community and the province.

"I am asking all residents to look at their schedules for the next two weeks to find a convenient time cast their ballots. "

ElectionsBC offers a number of voting opportunities for Westside-Kelowna voters. In addition to election day on Wednesday, July 10th, the District Electoral Office is open for early voting Mondays-Fridays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at #125-3011 Louie Drive West.

Advance Polls will also run from Wednesday, July 3 to Saturday, July 6 from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. at Emmanuel Church, Grace Baptist Church, St. Pius X Church Hall, and Super 8 West Kelowna Hotel.

"Premier Christy Clark has been warmly received by our community," Stewart added.  "She is absolutely determined to continue in our community's long tradition of strong representation.

"Christy is working hard to learn and understand our local issues so she can represent us in Victoria. But to do that, she needs our support at the ballot box."
