PENTICTON - A dog reported missing following a two vehicle collision on Highway 97 between Kaleden and Okanagan Falls yesterday has been reunited with its family.
Cpl. Ryan McLeod with the RCMP South Okanagan Traffic Services says in a media release, Marley was found this morning, Jan. 5, by an Argo Road Maintenance employee.
The dog ran off after the vehicle the vehcile it was in was involved in the collision yesterday, Jan. 4.
Marley spent a cold night outside but is currently being cared for by a vet for exposure, scratches and a couple of missing nails, McLeod says.
The dog is reported to be in relatively good shape considering what it went through.
McLeod says the dog owner’s family expressed their thanks for media and social media exposure as well as the numerous members of the public who helped search for the dog.
