Dodge truck stolen in West Kelowna

WEST KELOWNA – Police are looking for the person responsible for stealing a Dodge truck from a motel parking lot early Tuesday morning.

Video surveillance captured a small Mazda truck driving through the parking lot of the Super 8 Motel on Westgate Road on April 4 at 5:30 a.m. Shortly after, at 5:38 a.m., the truck was caught on tape leaving the parking lot with a stolen white Dodge Dakota, according to a release from Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers.

The stolen truck is described as a 2000 white Dodge Dakota with B.C. plate KW9705.

Police are looking for the people who were riding in the Mazda truck. The small Mazda truck had a rack in the box at the time.
