Do you know who vandalized a local school and home?

Three suspects were caught on a video surveillance camera apparently lighting the contents of a garbage bin on fire.

KELOWNA - Police are hunting for a group of individuals believed to be responsible for a string of school and residential vandalism over the last few months.

Reports have been coming into Kelowna RCMP since September. Springvalley Middle School told police of a garbage can set on fire, with graffiti painted throughout the neighbourhood including a residential fence at a nearby residence on the 1500 block of Carshyl Court are being investigated.

Police say the home has been targeted repeatedly and is occupied by an elderly couple who are greatly distressed.

The fence was damaged again Dec. 4. To help the couple, the Springvalley Middle School Builder's Club banded together to repair the couple's property.

Police believe they suspects were captured on camera and are asking or public assistance to identify them. Two surveillace videos of the supsects can be viewed on the Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers Youtube page.
