VERNON - Mounties are searching for the owners of an iPod containing one thing that’s irreplaceable in most thefts: photographs.
RCMP Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy says the iPod was seized during an arrest and is believed to have been stolen from the Greater Vernon area.
“RCMP are in possession of the iPod, and would like to return it to its rightful owners,” Noseworthy says.
She says there are a few thousand photos on the iPod, mostly of the two people pictured in this image.
Police don’t always go to the media for help returning stolen property, but in this case, Noseworthy believes it’s "worth a shot."
The owners, or for anyone who recognizes the individuals in the picture, can contact the Vernon RCMP at 250-545-7171.
