SHUSWAP - The latest Lotto 6/49 draw is over and while the grand prize wasn't won, a trio of tickets are splitting a $172,000 pot for matching most of the numbers and another won $1 million in the guaranteed prize draw.

Someone who bought their ticket in the Shuswap is $86,000 richer while another bought in Surrey won the $1-million guaranteed prize draw. The Shuswap ticket and two out of Quebec matched five of six numbers plus the bonus number, while the Surrey ticket is an exact match.

The grand prize did not go in the Jan. 6 draw and will be carried over to Saturday, Jan. 9.

Last week’s $23.8-million Lotto 6/49 draw was won by a single ticket out of Quebec and the guaranteed prize draw went to a ticket out of Ontario.
