KELOWNA – Yesterday afternoon search crews and emergency workers combined efforts to recover a deceased dirt biker from the hills near Bear Creek.

The rider was found about seven kilometres on a wooded trail by two other dirt bikers, according to a media release from Duane Tresnich.

B.C. Ambulance Service called Central Okanagan Search and Rescue to help extract the dirt biker.

Tresnich says ten members including two ATV teams and a UTV team were deployed.  Search crews and RCMP removed the rider and the incident is now under investigation.
