Custom-made 'Karen' Halloween masks sell out amid some outrage

An American mask artist is busy filling orders for his newest controversial creation, the Karen mask.

The mask is inspired by the infamous nickname that went viral this year, earned by those who refuse to follow pandemic guidelines and always demand to speak to a manager.

Jason Adcock is the creator of Halloween's newest monster mask, and sells them exclusively through his Etsy page Kamoras Costumes.

The mask embodies the stereotype of a Karen, an angry white woman with a blonde bob.

Currently, the mask is sold out, but not everyone is jockeying to purchase one.

Pictures of the Karen mask on Adcock's Instagram have attracted many critical comments, with some accusing the artist of "reverse racism." Some women actually named Karen are particularly unhappy about the mask's name.

Nonetheless, comments requesting that the artist make more masks continue to flood in.
