Mounties were called last night to assist BC Emergency Health Services at an orchard on Spiers Road where a man in his 60s was found dead.
The investigation that started yesterday, June 15, just after 11 p.m., has determined that the man was working in the orchard at the time of his death, Kelowna RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy said in a press release.
“Criminality is not suspected in this incident,” Noseworthy said. “WorkSafeBC and the BC Coroners Service are now conducting concurrent investigations to determine how and by what means the deceased came to his death.”
No further information is being released by RCMP at this time.
