List of some recent escapes from Quebec prisons

MONTREAL - Quebec authorities are searching for Francis Boucher, who walked out of a Montreal jail on Monday while still serving a sentence for uttering death threats against police officers. Here is a list of some recent escapes from institutions in the province:

March 23, 2015: Francis Boucher, 39, leaves the Bordeaux jail less than halfway through his 117-day sentence for uttering death threats against police officers. The circumstances surrounding the escape are still nebulous.

January 2015: Shamy Saint-Jean, 19, gets out of the Riviere-des-Prairies detention centre after posing as his brother, who was scheduled to be released. Saint-Jean turns himself in to Montreal police accompanied by his lawyer in mid-February.

June 7, 2014: Three inmates use a helicopter to escape from the Orsainville detention centre near Quebec City. They are caught two weeks later.

Sept. 14, 2013: Former Hells Angels member Rene Charlebois escapes from the Montee Saint-Francois minimum-security federal prison north of Montreal. He is found dead a few weeks later.

March 17, 2013: Two prisoners bust out of a detention centre in Saint-Jerome after a chopper is hijacked at gunpoint. They and two accomplices are arrested within hours.
