KAMLOOPS - B.C. Wildfire crews are battling a blaze that was spotted this afternoon at Stump Lake, about 35 kilometre south of Kamloops.
Fire information officer Taylor MacDonald says nine firefighters are on scene this afternoon, June 3, and the crew has air support. He says the fire is around two hectares in size and is considered out of control.
No structures are at risk and the cause is undetermined.
The fire is located near Highway 5A, but no closures are reported. Some from the blaze is high visible.
