A crash has closed Lac Le Jeune Road in both directions between Kamloops and Highway 97D.

DriveBC erroneously reported earlier this afternoon, Oct. 20, the Coquihalla Highway was closed but has since clarified that it's Lac Le Jeune Road that is closed.

No traffic is getting through on Lac Le Jeune Road in both directions due to the collision between Highway 5 in Kamloops and Meadow Creek Road, according to DriveBC.

A detour is not available.

Meadow Creek Road remains open but access to Lac Le Jeune Road from Highway 5 is closed. The estimated time of reopening is 8 p.m.

For the latest on the road closures go to DriveBC here.
