COVID-19 exposure reported on Kamloops flight

A flight from Kamloops had a passenger aboard with a confirmed case COVID-19, meaning those seated nearby will have to self monitor for symptoms for the next two weeks.

There was a potential exposure on Air Canada Jazz flight 8195, flying from Kamloops to Vancouver on Dec. 8, the B.C. Centre for Disease Control reported. The rows affected are three to nine.

Passengers on a domestic flight with a COVID-19 case should self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days..

British Columbians have been advised to minimize travel within the province or outside of the province because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the BCCDC said.
