Kelowna's YMCA sent out a notice this week that someone who tested positive for COVID-19 attended the pool at the Kelowna Family Y on the evening of Nov. 3.

"Interior Health is conducting detailed contact tracing with the case and will be notifying close contacts directly," the notice read.

"Those who are not contacted by Interior Health can continue to attend the facility. IH encourages all community members to remain vigilant in monitoring symptoms for COVID-19 and recommends that everyone follows safety measures including physical distancing, wearing masks and proper hand hygiene."

The Y's strict health and safety protocols will remain in place. For information on the Y's COVID-19 guidelines and safety measures, visit ymcaokanagan.ca/COVID19
