On Nov. 15, the couple was travelling home from a weekend getaway at Sparkling Ridge Resort near Vernon when they were swept away in the slide between Pemberton and Lillooet, according to one of the online fundraisers.

The couple's daughter is currently being taken care of by family members, according to another online fundraiser.
