Coroners service investigating death of Kamloops mountain biker

An investigation is underway following the death of a Kamloops mountain biker yesterday.

Kamloops RCMP said the mountain biker died of natural causes.

B.C. Emergency Health Services said in an email it received a call at 10:14 a.m. yesterday, July 19, regarding an incident involving a mountain biker on a trail in Batchelor Heights. It said the patient was transported to hospital in critical condition.

The B.C. Coroners Service said in an email it was notified of a death and is currently investigating to determine how, where and when the individual died.
