SHERRI MCLAUGHLIN STILL MISSING AFTER 20 YEARS

KAMLOOPS - It's been nearly 20 years since 20-year-old Sherri McLaughlin went missing while riding her bicycle to a friend's house in North Kamloops.

Tomorrow her mother and RCMP will speak to the cold case.

McLaughlin went missing in the early hours of Sept. 19, 1993 and has never been found. Convicted dangerous offender David Robert Dow, in jail indefinitely, was the primary suspect in McLaughlin's disappearance, however he never admitted to being responsible for her disappearance and would not co-operate with police.

She had a one-year-old son when she disappeared. Her bike was found damaged and ditched on the side of the road.

She may have been wearing dark jeans and a multi-coloured windbreaker that was purple, navy and white after her disappearance.

A memorial remains where she went missing in North Kamloops and a website was set up for ongoing tips.
