Cloudy and chilly this weekend in the Okanagan

OKANAGAN - The valley cloud continues into the weekend as temperatures fall to slightly below normal for this time of year.

Environment Canada is calling for cloudy skies both Saturday and Sunday, and chilly, with daytime highs of around -3 Celsius.

Plan for valley cloud today, Dec. 7, in Kelowna and Vernon with a high of 0 C and an overnight low of -2 C. Penticton might actually see some sunny breaks this afternoon with a high of 2 C and low of -3 C.

Expect more valley cloud in Kelowna and Vernon tomorrow with a high of -1 C. It will be a cloudy morning in Penticton with a mix of sun and cloud in the afternoon and a high of 1 C.

Forecasters expect cloudy weather across the Okanagan on Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures are not expected to rise above -3 C.

Normal temperatures for this time of year are highs of -1 C and lows of -6 C.
