KAMLOOPS - If you’ve ever dreamed of owning a classic car from the 1960s, here’s your chance.

Habitat for Humanity Kamloops is raffling off a 1968 Chevy Camaro convertible that was recently restored by Mike Hall, the star of the Shuswap’s Rust Valley Restorers, according to a press release.

The car restoration series is filmed in Tappen, approximately an hour east of Kamloops in the Shuswap.

The Camaro SS sports a Chevy 427 V8 engine, with a four-speed manual transmission. It's painted midnight orchard and has estimated at a retail value of $68,000.

Habitat for Humanity is raising funds to support its housing program. While searching for a car for their classic car raffle they met with Mayhem Entertainment, the production company behind Rust Valley Restorers.

The non-profit group will be featured in an upcoming episode of season two of the show which is set to premiere on the History channel this fall.
