PENTICTON - Varekai, filled with magical forests, whimsical creatures and adventure, will be making a five-day stop at the South Okanagan Events Centre this spring.
The Cirque du Soleil production will be in Penticton for seven performances from May 13 to 17 and will feature the mystical world of Varekai, where a ‘young man takes flight in an adventure both absurd and extraordinary.’
The Penticton stop is just one of three B.C. stops, and the only Interior stop, planned for the tour.
Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, Jan. 30 though Cirque Club members will have access to tickets Jan. 29. Tickets are available through the Cirque du Soleil website, ValleyFirstTix.com, by calling 1-877-SOEC-TIX (763-2849) or in person at the events centre box office or Wine Country Visitor Centre.
