Christmas trees are lining the streets of downtown Peachland, but this time it's not for Santa Claus' arrival.

Peachland will be featured in a new Hallmark movie shoot this week.

The film A Christmas Less Travelled will be shot primarily on Beach Avenue between Princeton and 4 Street. However, the crew will also be setting up in several locations in the downtown area.

This isn't the first movie to be filmed in Peachland.

In August 2022, the district was the setting for another Hallmark production A Town Called Love.

In September 2020, the production company caused some upset among residents as they flew an American flag over the town for the filming of Romance at Crystal Cove a romcom set in an American seaside town.

This week, the District of Peachland is warning residents that their may be some traffic, parking and pedestrian disruptions while the shoot takes places.

However, delays are expected to be short.
