Festival of Trees

Mission Hill Family estate in West Kelowna is hosting its Festival of Trees light up event for its sixth year in a row, complete with a wine tasting, of course.

The Festival of Trees is a grassroots campaign held in communities across the province to raise money for the B.C. Children’s Hospital Foundation from Nov. 25 to Jan. 3.

The winery is the host with a forest of trees sponsored and decorated by local businesses, community organizations and personal groups.

The festivities kick-off with a special Light up Celebrations on Nov. 25 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. that includes live music, mulled wine and hot chocolate, and holiday treats.

The Festival of Trees Winery Experience is offered from Nov. 26 to Jan. 3 and includes a tour of the wine cellar, a seated tasting of their Terroir and Legacy collection wines paired with ‘small seasonally-inspired bites’. Guests are surrounded by decorated trees and can shop at the winery boutique.

A percentage of proceeds from each experience will go to BCCHF. Mission Hill Family Estate is also matching all donations made by Wine Club members who visit for their complimentary tasting over fundraising dates.
