KELOWNA - It looks like a longtime restaurant in Kelowna’s downtown has changed hands.
According to a sign taped to the front of the building, the Yellow House Restaurant will be closed until September due to a change in ownership.
The message on the restaurant’s answering machine says they are closed for restructuring and kitchen renovations, and will reopen in 10 days. It's unknown when the message was recorded.
The restaurant, located at 526 Lawrence Ave., opened in 2005 but the building is the old Williams Inn which was built in 1906.
The previous owners were Rob Ahlgren and Darren Stanfeld, according to the restaurant's website.
Calls to the Yellow House were not returned.
