KELOWNA — The annual Center of Gravity music festival won’t be happening in Kelowna this year.

The annual three-day sport and music festival which takes place in Kelowna will not be taking place this year, according to the festival’s official Facebook.

“We are announcing today that Center of Gravity will not be returning in 2019,” the post reads. “Our goal is to return in 2020 with a fresh vision and the renewed support of all our fans.”

The festival first began in 2008 and has grown to become one of the largest music and sports festivals in Canada.

The music festival is held in City Park on Okanagan Lake and hosts approximately 25,000 people, according to the festival’s website.
