Casting call at Kelowna sports bar

KELOWNA - An Okanagan casting company is seeking talent for a film being shot this November in Kelowna.

This Monday. Nov 5, Okanagan Background Casting will be on site at Boomers Sports Bar and Grill at the Capital News Centre in Kelowna.

According to the Facebook page between the hours of 2 to 4 p.m. there will be an "informal" casting call. Kitchen and bar will be open; and it should be noted Boomers is an all ages establishment.

The feature film, is called "Undying" and is being shot in Kelowna from Nov. 13 to Dec. 8. The film is a romantic drama set in Northern California, being shot in the Okanagan.

The film will be directed by Scott Speer and is a story about young love, loss and letting go.

They are looking for a range of extras and some specific background performers to fill roles as doubles, stand-ins and extras.

Those interested can visit the Facebook page to see a list of roles or email info@okanaganbackgroundcasting.com for more information.

People may have the opportunity to work one or more days. This is paid work. Dates are subject to change during filming so flexibility is a must.
