Caravan Farm Theatre is providing customers with an outdoor experience that allows for social distancing with its new 20-foot screen.

From Aug. 25 to Sept. 5, the theatre will be showcasing five Canadian feature films with the farm's new screen and projector.

“You will be seated in pre-measured bubble zones in our timber barn. Bring your own lawn chairs, and/or blankets. (The) concession will be open, serving hot buttered popcorn, local fine wine, ales, and ciders, and an assortment of snacks,” according to the theatre’s latest announcement.

Only 50 tickets are available per screening, following provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry’s order that limits gatherings to 50.

Tickets are available for purchase online and the theatre has a range of price points, depending on your situation during the pandemic. The suggested price is $15, but the theatre also has a $5 pandemic “pay it forward” option and a $35 option to support the theatre by paying regular ticket prices.
