Car windows in Kamloops neighbourhood shot out with pellet gun: RCMP

Some vehicle owners in Valleyview woke up to broken car windows this morning, but it doesn’t appear to be for any kind of theft purposes.

Kamloops RCMP say five vehicles in the neighbourhood had windows broken overnight, June 15 to 16. All the vehicles were parked on Valleyview Drive between Highland Drive and Grand Boulevard and only had their driver’s side window broken.

The windows were broken with a pellet gun or other small projectile, RCMP say.

Police are asking anyone with video surveillance from the area to reach out.

If you have footage of the incident or know information about the culprits, call  Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000. If you would like to share tips about the culprits while remaining anonymous, you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-2477.
